![]() I'm not sure if another loan search would impact me that much and it would be worth doing this or not.Īlso is the APR I've got with Tesco bad considering my circumstances?Īpologies for any grammar or formatting errors in this post. ![]() I know another search with Barclays won't look good but I don't plan on taking out any new credit in the next few years. My outstanding credit will all be paid off before I call Barclays - not sure if that will make a positive impact to the APR rate they will give me or not but thought I'd mention it. My question is if the APR is lower with Barclays should I cancel my loan with Tesco within the cooling off period and just go with Barclays or just stick with Tesco now. I've got to wait for Tesco to send me paperwork then I have to send a bank statement off to them. I applied with Tesco instead as it said 3% APR but it changed to 17.9% when I applied. They updated my employment information whilst on the call and told me to wait before applying with them until the first week of December as the APR would probably be a lot better than it is right now. So Barclays didn't have up-to-date employment information and told me the APR for the same amount over 4/5 years would be around 30%. Before that I've not really been in solid work, just short term jobs on and off. I've been in a job for almost a year and a half. So I've been accepted for a Tesco Loan for 10k over 4yrs at 17.9% APR. ![]() ![]() Currently I have outstanding credit to pay of with Very for £1,228 and £800 on a credit card. ![]()
